Why Is The Return Coefficient Of The Current Relay Always Less Than 1?

Update time:Nov 24 , 2023 Views:89

Current relay is an over-current action and returns when it is less than the setting value; in order to avoid the frequent start and return of the relay when the current is near the setting value, a return value is generally set, such as 0.97, and the current is less than 0.97 before returning. Therefore, the return value must be less than 1.

The function and role of current relay:

Current relays generally have an induction mechanism that can reflect certain input variables (such as current, voltage, power, impedance, frequency, temperature, pressure, speed, light, etc.); there are actuators that can control the on-off of the controlled circuit; Between the input part and the output part of the current relay, there is an intermediate mechanism for coupling and isolating the input, functional processing and driving the output part. Current relay is an automatic switching element with isolation function. It is widely used in remote control, telemetry, communication, automatic control, mechatronics and power electronic equipment. It is one of the most important control elements. As a control element, in summary, the current relay has the following functions:

(1) Expand the scope of control:

Relays have been widely used in computer peripheral interface equipment, constant temperature systems, temperature adjustment, electric furnace heating control, motor control, CNC machinery, remote control systems, industrial automation equipment; signal lights, dimming, flashers, lighting stage lighting control systems; instruments Instruments, medical equipment, photocopiers, automatic washing machines; automatic fire fighting, security systems, as well as switching switches of power capacitors used as power factor compensation for power grids, etc. In addition, they are widely used in chemical, coal, and other occasions that require explosion-proof, moisture-proof, and corrosion-proof . For example, when the control signal of a multi-contact relay reaches a certain value, it can switch, break, and connect multiple circuits at the same time according to different forms of contact groups.

(2)Zoom in:

For example, sensitive relays, intermediate relays, etc., with a very small control quantity, can control a circuit with a large power.

(3) Integrated signal:

For example, when a plurality of control signals are input to a multi-winding relay in a prescribed form, they will be compared and integrated to achieve a predetermined control effect.

(4) Automatic, remote control, monitoring:

For example, the current relay on the automatic device and other electrical appliances can form a program control circuit to realize automatic operation.
